Ongoing:

  • Ingrid works with the U.S, Department of Interior, the Wildlife Conservation Society and the managers of Greenland's three world heritage sites to create education materials for visitors.
  • Producer of Story Borealis for National Public Radio affiliate, KBBI.org in Homer, Alaska.
  • Artistic Director, Liars Contest Organizer, and board member with the Story People of Clallam County, Port Angeles, WA.
  • Board member with the Portland Storytellers' Guild.
  • Member of T.B.D. Storytellers.
  • Volunteer and storytelling coach for Hospice of Homer, Homer, Alaska.

2025:


November 22 - December 11: Shackleton stories and more as Ingrid travels to The Falklands, South Georgia and Antarctica with Apex Expeditions.


December 18: Ingrid tells in Yuletide Spirits, an annual holiday ghost story show with Anne Rutherford and Norm Brecke, live on Zoom. Register here.


December 18: Ingrid produces Story Borealis at 11 a.m. Alaska time on KBBI.org, National Public Radio. Listen to past episodes here.


2026:


January 20: Ingrid is a featured teller with the Portland Storytellers' Guild Story Speakeasy at 5p Pacific, live on Zoom. Details to come.


January 27 - February 26: Ingrid does a bit of traveling and then co-leads trip exploring New Zealand's fjords with Apex Expeditions. Details here.


February 11: Ingrid tellers in the StellarSlam with Six-Feet Apart Productions at 5p Pacific on Zoom. Details to come.


March 19: Ingrid is the featured teller at Opera House Live! at the Howell Opera House, Howell, MI. Details here.


March 23 - April 6: Ingrid travels to Samiland with Apex Expeditions.


April 8: Ingrid is the featured teller for the South Sound Story Guild in Olympia. This is an in-person event, as well as on Zoom.


April 11: Ingrid is a featured teller in the Grimm's Show with the Portland Storytellers Guild in Portland. Join us in-person and on Zoom.


April 24 - 26: Ingrid is a featured teller in-person at the Kansas Storytelling Festival.


May 5 - May 23: Ingrid co-leads a trip exploring Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia with Apex Expeditions. Details to come!


June 4: Ingrid tells and emcees the 11th Almost Annual Liars Contest for the Story People of Clallam County, live at Field Arts and Events Hall in Port Angeles. Details to come.


June 6: Ingrid leads a workshop: "Past/Present Fusion: Finding the Everyday in the Mythic and Vice Versa" for the Story People of Clallam County. Registration details to come.


September 7 - 24: Ingrid co-leads a trip exploring Northeast Greenland with Apex Expeditions.

October 8: Ingrid is the featured teller for Story by Story at the Paul Sawyier Public Library in Frankfort, Kentucky.
